Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Education

The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in Education is primarily concerned with discovering knowledge in complex sets of educational data, in order to identify useful and effective knowledge. The main focus is on the application of techniques to research data on students’ learning pathways in learning management systems, interaction on social networks, e-learning, m-learning and teaching practice. The analysis of the collected data reveals useful patterns that support decisions related to students, teaching and optimization of institutional resources.
